A truly grassroots organization, AED Access grew out of one woman's desire to help victims in her local community. After moving to southwest Missouri from Iowa, Rosanne Frazier met with the local Southern Stone County fire chief to discuss her plans to provide quilts to the fire department that could be used to comfort burn victims. The fire chief, however, explained that what they REALLY needed was AED machines, as they did not have enough machines to cover their entire area.
Inspired by this need, AED Access was founded in September 2006 to help stem the tide of preventable death caused by Sudden Cardiac Arrest, the number one killer of people in the United States. We are saving lives through education and awareness while placing AED machines in school across America.
Today Rosanne's focus is educating the public about Sudden Cardiac Arrest. She has spoken to companies, schools, small and large organizations, and even carries her program to our youth through a fun 1 hour program.
Her message is one of Awareness and Action.
Groups walk away with the education and confidence to step-in and help when the time comes. Children learn the basics of Compression-only CPR.
