HeartSine Technologies was founded in 1997 for the purpose of developing a family of products focused on an emerging growth segment of the medical device marketplace: easy-to-use, affordable defibrillators for the home and public access markets. Heartsine is a privately-held company with established R&D activities in Northern Ireland. The company has initiated a formal collaboration with world renowned European universities to enhance its research & development activities.
HeartSine currently manufactures the Samaritan PAD AED. Their previous model was simply known as the Samaritan AED and was available in several configurations.
